Mark Morris is one of, if not, the best pistol smiths in the world. If you aren’t aware of this man’s work, I highly recommend looking into him a bit. This pistol was specially ordered to be a work of art. This underwent a full rebuild receiving parts made by Mr. Morris for this specific gun and fitted for this specific gun. It also received a full engraving job complete with the initials PM under the trigger guard that was done entirely by hand, not using a laser. The action on this pistol is extremely smooth and everything is fit very tight to where there is no wiggle room on the parts. In addition to having extremely beautiful engraving, it also includes PRE-BAN Elephant Ivory grips which has been confirmed by Mark Morris himself. The grips show no signs of wear or patina and are in excellent shape. Since the grips aren’t the major part of the value of this pistol, these are eligible for interstate sale as long as your state doesn’t restrict the sale and possession of Ivory and allows this pistol. It also comes with 2 magazines from Wilson Combat plus a case which fits the pistol perfectly. From speaking to Mr. Morris, this pistol would cost well over $10K to build today and there is not really any telling what it is worth.
